Fascia cover and gable barge installation
Painting the timber fascia is no longer required as you can now install fascia cover. The cost of installing fascia cover is comparable to hiring a painter to paint the existing fascia board. Also, we can cap the gable ends of the house with fascia cover and gable barges. This installation helps waterproof the timber fascia and also removes the need to bed and point the gables.
Gutter cleaning
Gutters and down pipes need to be clean to operate correctly and to avoid overflowing during rain. If blockages or debris build-up are not identified quickly enough it can lead to the gutters and downpipes deteriorating more quickly than they should. Also, overflowing gutters can lead to damage to eaves and the underlying roof structure over time.
We can clean your gutters either as a one-off service or regular service. How regularly you get your gutters clean depends on the tree coverage around your house. Generally, you should clean your gutters after autumn when deciduous trees have dropped their leaves and spring/summer to ensure your gutters are able to work efficiently as possible. If there are plants growing in your gutters, the gutter clean is well overdue.
