Do you give free quotes?
Yes. We regularly do quote runs on Saturday as it is generally easier to arrange a convenient time to come around. At the quote, we will discuss what issues you might be experiencing and what the scope of work will be. Also, you will be able to see samples of the guttering products we use. Afterward, we will provide an accurate quote and leave it to you as to whether you go ahead. No cold calling or pressure to sign a contract.
What gutters do you use?
We use Ace Gutters products that are manufactured in Australia. Ace Gutters have been operating since 1953 and we have been using their product from the beginning of our business. Due to our long association with Ace Gutters we trust and recommend their products for installation. In the rare instance, we have an issue with a supplied product they have replaced it promptly and with a local based ACE Gutters sales representative the 20-year product warranty is genuine and will be honoured.
The gutter profile we recommend from ACE Gutters is Mini Line and while the name might appear deceptive, it is a bigger gutter than the industry standard Quad gutter that most installers use. We believe in the bigger Mini Line product so much that we don’t charge anymore to supply and install than we would for Quad. We also don‘t charge more to upgrade the downpipes to the bigger 100x75mm from the standard 100x50mm.
Do we have to paint the timber fascia?
You can if you like the wood look. We can remove the existing gutters first and allow time for the fascia boards to be painted before installing the new gutters.
If you like the new modern look of metal fascia and don’t want paint, then we can install a metal fascia cover over the existing timber fascia. Check out the photos in the gallery to see what the fascia cover looks like.
Before
Tired, old, leaking gutters and downpipes.
Paint peeling off timber fascia.
After
New gutters, downpipes with fascia cover, and gable barges installed.
